Method #1: Recover photos using CMD Prompt

Whatever files or photos you have deleted, use card reader to connect memory card of digital camera in it. After that press window key and R together. Then type CMD in the search box and click enter. At the prompt type in cd/ then click enter. Now type in cd Recycled and again press enter. Now type dir. and click enter again.

Method #2: Reinstall or update memory card

As we update our window all the device drivers will be automatically renew. If still you have problem with the device, then try to reinstall or update the memory card.

·         Go to the “start” button and enter on device manager.

·         You will find a memory card option, just right click in it. After that select on update memory card.

·         Now select on “search automatically” to update the memory card.

·         If the driver is not update just right click on the device and then click on “Uninstall”

·         Now restart your computer again. Windows will update the drive itself.

Method #3: Check memory card in disk management

If your memory card is not showing in the windows then check it out if there is a drive letter for the memory card. Follow the below steps to check whether the memory is showing in the window or in disc management:-

·         Go to “My Computer” and right click in it and then select on disk management.

·         In the disk management, the memory card will appear as removable disk and check whether it has a drive letter or not.

·         If the drive letter is not showing, just right click on the memory card.

·         Now select “Change drive letters” and click add and select a drive letter and press “OK” button

·         Your memory card will start working in Disk Management.

·         If you have bought a new digital camera then don’t forget to back up your photos.

·         Do not hit any button accidently.

·         Protect your digital camera from fire or water damages.
